SORENSON WINS MINNESOTA PGA SECTION PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN PLAYOFF
Past Champion Jeff Sorenson of Columbia Learning Center made birdie on the second play-off hole to defeat Don Berry of Edinburgh USA and capture the 2010 Minnesota PGA Section Professional Championship title at the Wilderness at Fortune Bay Resort in Tower, MN. Both players finished the event at 7-under par 137 and parred the first play-off hole (Hole #18) before Sorenson hit his third shot to less than a foot on the second play-off hole (Hole #1).
