MGA DEFEATS PGA IN CUP MATCHES
The team of amateurs representing the MGA defeated a team of PGA professionals in the 36th Annual Cup Matches 24-16 at Woodhill Country Club.  The MGA reclaims the Cup after a four-year absence and this victory brings the overall records to PGA-26; MGA-8 with two ties. Final Results

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TPC JUNIOR CLINIC
TPC Twin Cities is hosting the Dennis Walters' Show and Clinic for 4th and 5th graders on Tuesday May 22 from 10:00AM to 11:30PM.  They are looking for PGA Members and Apprentices to assist in 30 minutes of golf instruction.  MSR points will be available.  Please contact Chad Knudson @ cknudson@pgatourtpc.com if you are interested.

RASK WINS THIRD MINNESOTA GOLF CHAMPIONS TITLE
Clayton Rask of Crystal Lake GC shot a final round 7-under par 65 to post a three round total of 9-under par 207 to win his third Minnesota Golf Champions title Sunday, May 13th at Minneapolis Golf Club.  Finishing second, seven shots back at 2-under par 214 was amateur Donald Constable of Spring Hill GC.  Second round leader Jeff Sorenson of Columbia GC finished tied for third at even par 216 with Justin Smith of University GC.  In the Past Masters division Mike Barge of Hazeltine National GC shot a two round total of 1-under par 143 to win by eight shots over John Spreiter of Litchfield GC.

BANG/PAULSON WIN PRO-SERIES #1
The team of Andy Bang and Ryan Paulson from Minneapolis GC shot a four-ball score of 6-under par 67 to win Luther Pro-Series Event #1 at Golden Valley G&CC. One stroke back at 5-under par 68 were Danny Sinksen from Elmwood Park GC and Jonathon Murdy from Moccasin Creek GC along with the team of Eddie Wynne and Chris Peterson from University GC. MINNESOTA SECTION GOLF MARATHON
