SECTION MEDIA DAY A SUCCESS
Media Day Winners
Media Day winners Scott Seroka from Kare 11 TV and Steve Fessler from Pheasant Acres GC
The Section hosted its annual media day Wednesday, April 18th at Minneapolis Golf Club with 16 members of the media joining our PGA Professionals in a new challenge Cup format. The television team, led by Captain Ed Heil of StoryTeller Media, won the team event 5 1/2 to 2 1/2 over the radio and print team led by Dan Cole of KFAN radio.

In the individual team competition Kare-11 reporter Scott Seroka paired with Steve Fessler of Pheasant Acres to shot a 69 and win by a shot. Finishing second at 70 were the teams of WCCO TV producer Matt Liddy and Joe O'Brien of Minneapolis GC, and sports report Chadd Courrier of the Mankato Free Press and Dan Simpson of Minneapolis GC.
