The Minnesota PGA and The Klick Foundation are proud to announce a five-year partnership benefitting the Minnesota PGA’s charitable arm, PGA REACH Minnesota.
The partnership is focused on aligning strategically to positively impact the three pillars of PGA REACH Minnesota: youth, military and diverse populations with an emphasis on inclusion. This partnership enables PGA REACH Minnesota to introduce programming and player development initiatives in the Sauk Centre area at the Old Course Sauk Centre.
“PGA REACH Minnesota and the Old Course share a common goal,” The Klick Foundation CEO Steve Klick emphasized. “To get all the people who don’t play golf, to give it a try.”
As part of this agreement, The Klick Foundation will be the lead sponsor for the inaugural 100 Holes for HOPE at Mount Frontenac Golf Course on June 21, 2018. PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of PGA REACH Minnesota. PGA HOPE aims to provide a therapeutic rehabilitation introduction to golf and is readily available to all veterans with physical, emotional and PTSD challenges who would benefit most from such a program. Proceeds from the 100 Holes for HOPE will enable a new chapter to begin operations in Sauk Centre.
“The Minnesota PGA is thrilled to partner with The Klick Foundation to continue to grow the game of golf in the Sauk Centre community and beyond,” said Minnesota PGA CEO Jeffrey Hintz. “We are energized by The Klick Foundation’s willingness to contribute to and invest in the future of golf.”
