The Tournament Committee of the Minnesota PGA announced some exciting news regarding The Tapemark Minnesota PGA Pro-Am to attract additional participants and partners to this “major” golf event in June that has raised over $7.8 million to local charities over the years.
“The Tapemark Minnesota PGA Pro-Am is the top Pro-Am in Minnesota year after year. This event not only attracts the top Professionals, amazing and generous Amateur players, but most importantly raises money for these deserving charities.” said Kellie Catron Hoiness, Head PGA Professional at The Minikahda Club and Minnesota PGA Tournament Committee Chair. “We are excited to continue the traditions to make this a top tier event for all involved while increasing charitable donations each year.”
NEW for 2020:
- The event will now be all-inclusive of Men and Women participants, crowning one champion,
- All players will be eligible for the event over three days of play. This enables Women’s, Men’s and Mixed teams to participate.
- In lieu of the draw party, there will now be an online auction for teams to bid on exempt players.
- The Saturday night banquet and raffle, to help raise funds for the deserving charities, will continue.
Many well-known golfers have participated in The Tapemark Minnesota PGA Pro-Am, including previous champions Tom Lehman, Dave Tentis, Eric Van Rooyen, Don Berry, Mike Barge, Bill Israelson, Lisa Grimes and others. This event benefits charities such as The Arc Minnesota, Living Well, ProAct, and PGA REACH Minnesota. This year’s event will again take place at Southview Country Club in West St. Paul, June 12-14.

An Overall Champion is crowned along with a low Woman and low Senior Man following the final round.
