A Day at the Links
On Monday, June 23rd, Assistant Golf Professionals from the Minnesota PGA Section provided a day of golfing activities for children of the
Twin Cities' Big Brothers and Big Sisters program. Over 70 people participated in the day's activities which included a golf instructional clinic, lunch at Interlachen,
Dennis Walters trick shot show, and spectating at the US Women's Open. Thank you to all of the PGA professionals who participated in this charitable event to promote the game.
And a special thank you to Ryan Archer and Pat Scott of Callaway Golf for their contributions to make this event possible.

SNYDER WINS SECOND CONSECUTIVE ASSISTANTīS CHAPTER EVENT
Brent Snyder of Troy Burne GC shot a 3-under par 69 to win his second consecutive Assistantīs Chapter Event held July 14th at Dacotah Ridge GC. Finishing in a tie for second three shots back at even-par 72 were Chris Borgen of Hastings CC and Mike Flaherty of Valleywood GC.

SNYDER WINS ASSISTANTīS CHAPTER EVENT #3
Brent Snyder of Troy Burne GC shot an even-par 72 to win the third Assistantīs Chapter Event held June 16th at the Wilds GC. Finishing in a tie for second one-shot back at 1-over par 73 were Chris Borgen of Hastings CC and Ben Meyers of Medina Golf and CC.

TWO TIE FOR FIRST AT ASSISTANTīS CHAPTER EVENT #2
Thaddeus Bloberger of Midland Hills CC and Eddie Wynne of StoneRidge GC shot 1-over par 145 for 36-holes to tie for first at the Srixon Assistantīs Chapter Event #2 Monday, May 12th at Greystone GC. First round leader Tyler Brewton of Mississippi Dunes GC shot a second round 7-over par 79 and finished in third at 6-over par 150. Thanks to presenting sponsor Srixon and Greystone for hosting the event.

NORGAARD WINS ASSISTANTīS CHAPTER EVENT #1
Matt Norgaard of Somerby GC shot an even-par 72 to win the first Assistantīs Chapter Event of the year Monday, April 21st at Somerby GC. Norgaardīs even-par 72 defeated runner-up Matthew Dawson of Island View GC (3-over par 75) by three shots. Eddie Wynne, Stoneridge GC, Tim Brovold, Bunker Hills GC, and Luke Benoit, Cleary Lake GC finished tied for third at 4-over par 76.
