To Support Special Olympics Minnesota
Five Minnesota Section PGA members, including Section President Paul Kelley of Bent Creek GC participated in the 14th annual Polar Bear Plunge Saturday,
March 12th in Eden Prairie, Minnesota to help support Special Olympics. Kelley was joined by PGA members Lori Money of Elm Creek GC, Jay Meyerhoff of Rush Creek GC,
Michael Herzog of Town & Country Club, and Eddie Wynne of University GC. Combined they helped raise more than $4,800.
The five joined thousands of others to support Special Olympics athletes by jumping into a frigid Minnesota lake during the winter months. In 2011 the Polar Bear Plunge had
more than 9,000 participants, and raised $1.4 million.
