2009 Minnesota State Open champion Brett Swedberg of Alexandria CC shot a final round 68 for a three round total of 10-under par 206 to win his first Arthur J. Gallagher Minnesota Golf Champions at Minneapolis Golf Club on Sunday, May 8th.  Finishing second four shots back at 6-under par 210 was Joe O'Brien of Minneapolis GC.  Defending champion Don Berry of Edinburgh USA finished tied for fourth at 4-under par 212 with tournament low amateur Donald Constable of Spring Hill GC.  In the Past Masters division amateur Rick Ehrmanntraut of Southview CC shot a two round total of 2-over par 146 to win by six.  The Minnesota Golf Champions is presented by title sponsor Arthur J. Gallagher and presenting sponsor Polo Golf Ralph Lauren.
