Fun Tees Program at Chisago Lakes
Come out and enjoy the Fun Tees at Chisago Lakes Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday Evenings. Every weekend, June through September, Chisago Lakes Golf Course sets up the Fun Tees. The Fun tees are set of tees forward in the fairway to give juniors and beginners a little head start on each hole. The goal of the Fun Tees program is to get beginners and juniors introduced to the game by playing Fun Tees and not worrying about all of the many rules of golf while still observing some of the basic etiquette. Here are the "you musts" and the "you mays" of the Fun Tees Program and please call if you have any questions.

Fun Tees is a program started by the Minnesota PGA to help introduce beginners and juniors to the game of golf in a less intimidating and less expensive way. On Weekends after 6 pm May through August the front nine is set up with "Fun Tees". These tees are placed in the middle of the fairway at varying distances on each hole. This shorter set of tees gives beginners and juniors and opportunity to reach the green a little sooner and enjoy the game more without having to worry about "holding up" other more experienced golfers. The fees for playing the fun tees are $5 per junior and $10 per adult. For more information call the Pro Shop.
