SUMMARY:PGA-MGA Cup Matches
DESCRIPTION:Invitation-only event. \nThis match-play team event is an annual competition between the top PGA professionals and the top amateur players in the area. Each team is comprised of 20 players broken down into three divisions- Regular (12 players)\, Senior (4 players)\, and Women (4 players). \nA team of two professionals will compete against a team of two amateurs in a Four-Ball match\, while concurrently; each professional plays a Singles match against one of the amateurs. Scoring is similar to the Ryder Cup\, and should the matches end in a tie\, the defending Champions retain the Cup.
