SUMMARY:3M Open Qualifying
DESCRIPTION:Format:\n18-Hole Stroke Play. Low 4 will qualify for the 2025 3M Open. Sudden Death Playoff will be used to settle tie(s) for the qualifying spots immediately following play. \nCheck-In:\nPlease check-in at your starting hole approximately 10 minutes before your tee time. \nStarting Times:\nPlease be at your designated tee\, ready to play\, prior to your tee time. Please note that #1 tee is a lengthy walk from the practice area. \nGroove Specifications:\nNote: Open Qualifying contestants MUST use equipment which conforms to the Condition of Competition for Groove Specifications. This condition shall NOT apply to Pre-Qualifying. \nSpike Policy:\nThe use of traditional metal spikes is permitted during the Competition. Soft spikes are required during practice rounds. \nTransportation:\nPlayers and Caddies shall walk at all times during qualifying rounds\, except when permitted to ride by the Rules Committee. Players are not required to have a caddie; they may carry their clubs or use a manual or motorized pull cart. \nPersonal Measuring Devices ARE allowed. \nAppearance — \nPlayers: While on the host facility property on the day(s) of competition\, players shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. Blue jeans\, cutoffs\, T-shirts or shirts with no collar shall not be worn. Players are permitted to wear golf shorts which are knee length\, tailored and neat in appearance. Compression leggings worn underneath shorts must be solid in color. \nCaddies: While on the host facility property on the day(s) of competition\, caddies may wear either long pants or tailored solid colored knee length shorts or skorts. Blue jeans\, cutoffs\, T-shirts or shirts with no collar shall not be worn. Smooth rubber sole shoes are required. Sandals\, open toe shoes\, and golf shoes with traditional metal or soft spikes are prohibited. \nPlayers and Caddies shall conform to the host facility’s appearance policies while onsite during any practice round.

DESCRIPTION:Registration Opens: March 22\, 2021 @ 9:00 a.m. \nRegistration Closes: June 3\, 2021 @ NOON \n\nFormat: Individual stroke play\, 18-holes \nEligibility: \n\nProfessionals: Minnesota Section PGA Members\, Apprentices and non-PGA professionals who currently reside and have physically resided within the territorial boundaries of the Minnesota Section for a minimum of six (6) months since the completion of the preceding State Open shall be eligible to compete in any qualifying event. Any past champion is eligible to participate regardless of their residency.\nAmateurs: Amateur players must have a USGA handicap of six (6.0) or less when computed in accordance with the USGA specifications. Amateurs must be affiliated with a golf club within the Minnesota Section boundaries.\nAll entries are subject to approval by the Minnesota PGA Section.\n\nNote: The Minnesota Section encompasses Minnesota\, North and South Dakota; Saint Croix County\, Wisconsin; and the area in and around Superior\, Wisconsin.
