COON RAPIDS, Minn. – Steve Fessler, Head Golf Professional at Albion Ridges Golf Course in Annandale, Minn., has been named the recipient of Minnesota PGA Golf Professional of the Year Award, the highest annual honor bestowed by the Minnesota PGA on a PGA Professional.

Fessler heads the 2022 Minnesota PGA Awards class for “qualities of leadership, strong moral character and a substantial record of service” to the Minnesota Section and the game of golf. The following PGA Members were honored at the Minnesota PGA Awards Ceremony held at Royal Golf Club on December 5, 2022.

  • Matt Paulius, Minnesota Valley Country Club – Facility Promoter of the Year – Private
  • Kent Blaschko, Royal Golf Club – Facility Promoter of the Year – Public
  • Jack Wawro, Legacy Courses at Cragun’s Resort – Facility Promoter of the Year – Resort
  • Benny Menton, PGA Tour Superstore – Minnetonka – Patriot Award
  • Marty Lass, Edina Country Club – Steve Weidner Award
