HOPKINS, Minn. — The Minnesota PGA proudly hosted the Play Yellow Birdie Bash at Oak Ridge Country Club, bringing together PGA Professionals for a day of purpose-driven play. The event successfully raised more than $24,000 in support of PGA of America REACH Foundation Minnesota and Gillette Children’s, helping advance their mission of providing exceptional care and support to children, families and the golf community.

The Birdie Bash featured a two-person team scramble format where participants collected pledges per birdie and donations leading up to the event. Players tallied 251 birdies and eagles throughout the day.

Looking Ahead

With the success of this year’s inaugural event, the Play Yellow Birdie Bash is poised to become an annual tradition. Plans are already underway for next year’s event, with the goal of expanding participation and raising even greater awareness and funds for junior and Veterans golf programs and children’s healthcare initiatives.
