Duties
Rules Officials: Individuals are certified by the USGA with Advanced or Expert certifications or have completed a local rules seminar and received a passing score (70% or above). This individual is responsible for providing timely rules decisions to players and will consult these decisions with other officials and the Tournament Director when needed.
Volunteer: Individuals will be responsible for monitoring play during the competition. Tasks may include tracking and reporting pace of play, ball spotting and searching, assisting players, and alerting a rules question to a certified individual.
NOTE: Individuals must be willing to work in all weather conditions.
Shift Duration
AM & PM shifts will be available for each championship. Each shift will last approximately 4 to 5 hours.
All day shifts may be available based on the event and assistance required.
Benefits
Each volunteer will be provided a PGA polo, and food and beverage will be provided while on duty.
