GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. – Posting a round of 1-under 72 Saturday at The Club at Golden Valley, Peyton Coahran held off Jesse Bull and Nate Adams to claim a one-stroke lead to claim the 52nd Minnesota Golf Champions presented by Yamaha Golf and Utility, shooting 6-under 140.

Coahran opened the championship with a round of 5-under 68 Friday to carry a one-stroke lead into the final 18 holes, where he played his final nine holes in even par to collect the first professional victory of his career.

Beginning his final round with back-to-back birdies at the first and second holes, Coahran reached 7-under for the championship before taking his first bogey of the round at the ninth.

Converting a birdie chance at the par-3 14th, Coahran would take a bogey at the 15th before closing out the round with three consecutive pars to put him in the clubhouse with a one-stroke victory.

Even through 17 holes, Adams, the 2026 Minnesota PGA Assistants’ Player of the Year, birdied the par-5 18th to card a final-round 72 to finish in a tie for second with Bull, one back of Coahran.

Bull, winner of the 2014 Minnesota Golf Association Amateur Championship at The Club at Golden Valley, captured low amateur honors by shooting a 2-under 71 Saturday.

Former University of Minnesota golfer Jack Wetzel carded a 72 Saturday to drop one spot on the leaderboard on the final day to finish fourth at 142.
