The Minnesota Senior PGA Professional Championship kicked off on Monday, August 3 at Medina Golf & Country Club in Medina, Minn.
The leaderboard is tight, with a two-way tie for first place between Ty Armstrong of GolfTEC Eden Prairie and Steve Fessler, playing his home course at Medina G&CC. Both finished their rounds at even par.
The 2019 Champion, Bill Israelson, finished T3 at +1. He is tied with Jason Sudenga of Bakker Crossing GC, Dan Callahan of Island View GC, and Dale Jones of Mendakota CC.
Round 2 will begin on Tuesday, August 4 with tee times starting at 8:00 am.
